Sunset Boulevard is a Danish-owned chain, with more than 40 restaurants, offering fast food in Denmark, Greenland and Faroe Islands.
The Challenge
They need to label their ingredients for their sandwiches and burgers at their restaurants. Their process was time-consuming and prone to errors, which involved manual writing of their ingredients on their labels or price tag.
Information on their label needs to be precise and correct to ensure food safety and compliance with their food regulatory law.
The Solution
They have used Brother’s TD-2130N Professional label printer with a Touch display panel with buttons, to store their ingredients and product shelf life information in their label printers' memory function. Their staff could create labels accurately, easily, quickly and without any special training required.
New information could be updated simultaneously through Brother BRAdmin administration tool and transferred wirelessly to all their restaurants so that they could use their same specifications uniformly on their ingredients. Their staff could move their label printers to any location within their restaurants, to print labels conveniently, which has helped to increase productivity.
