In conjunction with Ramadhan month, Brother International Malaysia organised the Sumbangan Bubur Lambuk Ramadhan 2025 initiative on 22nd March 2025 at Masjid Dato' Haji Kamaruddin, Petaling Jaya. This initiative was carried out to embrace the values of generosity and compassion by supporting the spirit of giving during this meaningful time.
As part of the programme, our internal team prepared and cooked Bubur Lambuk—a traditional and much-loved dish commonly served during Ramadhan. The freshly prepared porridge was then distributed to the local community for iftar, where anyone from the surrounding area was welcome to walk in and collect a serving to break their fast.
In addition to this, we also donated 6 sets of food hampers to selected underprivileged families. Each set included essential items such as rice, canned food (e.g. sardines), cooking oil, sugar, tea, and crackers — providing meaningful support to help ease their fasting journey. Through this initiative, Brother Malaysia continues to uphold the spirit of being At Your Side, delivering support that extends beyond the workplace and into the lives of those in need.
