On 31st July 2025, Brother International Malaysia collaborated with The Lost Food Project (TLFP) for a meaningful CSR initiative focused on food rescue, compost awareness, and environmental impact. Held at TLFP Central, the programme saw the active participation of 31 Brother employees, who volunteered their time to sort, clean, and distribute surplus fresh vegetables and fruits to charitable organisations.
Through this effort, a total of 3,032 kg of food was rescued, equivalent to 8,662 meals shared across 37 charity recipients. Additionally, the event helped prevent approximately 7,580 kg of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and contributed 327 kg in compostable potential, reinforcing our commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible resource use.
This initiative not only reflects our values as a socially conscious organisation, but also demonstrates how small collective actions can drive lasting impact. At Brother Malaysia, we are proud to be At Your Side—supporting both people and planet through purposeful partnerships and hands-on engagement.
