Won't interfere with your wireless network.
You can talk with the digital cordless handset at almost "anywhere". You are able to talk in your living room or in another room. Also, because the digital handset cuts off more noise than a non-digital handset does, your friend's or family's voice sounds clearer. In addition, it secures what while you speak against telephone tapping with its digital data-transferring technology. Expandable to a total of 4 handsets (Optional). Transfer and intercom with hands-free talking is available: between handsets or handset to base.
Stand-alone Fax
High-performance and cost-effective for business and home use.
No computer needed to send and receive color or black and white faxes with the MFC's 14.4kbps modem. Some models* also include the ability to preview received faxes on the LCD so you can delete junk faxes without printing.

PC-Fax
Send and receive faxes to and from your computer.
You are able to send documents via fax from your PC, without printing them out. In addition, the machine will store received faxes in its memory and transfer them to your PC automatically.
You can then use your PC to view and store these faxes.
* PC-FAX receive is available for a Windows®-based PC only and the MFC-465CN, MFC-685CW, MFC-885CW, MFC-5460CN or MFC-5860CN.
